It especially doesn't matter for some old game where the devs aren't around to collect profits anymore. If everyone pirates Doom now until the end of time, Bethesda and ID Software will still exist, so who cares?
If it's a big corporation, it doesn't really matter. Hot take, but piracy is not ethically wrong, unless you're pirating from some small indie studio or creator who needs the money. I literally could not bring myself to give a remnant of a damn no matter how hard I try, especially since you already bought it on PS4.
